The doctor was great. The entire rest of the experience was negative stars. If I had a staff like this one I would fire each one. I walked in, and was immediately asked for photo ID and insurance card. I was told I had a balance due that had to be paid prior to the procedure. No hello. No how are you doing at 1 PM after a day of clear liquids, a bowel prep and then nothing by mouth prior to showing up here. I was a walking dollar sign. Terrible billing practices. Staff maybe nice but the billing is awful. They are very aggressive in getting paid upfront for the facility fee of a few hundred dollars which my insurance covered as I had already met my deductible. So they were double paid, and took me months to get my money back. Would not listen to me when I told them I was covered by my insurance.

Diagnostic Endoscopy Center is an outstanding facility. The entire team is fantastic, from the warm and welcoming professionals at check-in to the knowledgeable, compassionate and highly skilled nurses caring for you before, during and after your procedure. The Anesthesiologist is also wonderful. As a first timer, I was very nervous and she went out of her way to calm my nerves and explain exactly what was going to happen.
