I got my bloodwork done a couple weeks ago at this lab and had a bad experience. The phlebotomist did not talk to me during the entire blood drawl. She did not give me instructions to close my fist or let go of a fist once the blood was being drawn. She stuck me with a needle without warning too. She had headphones in and was listening to a podcast or audiobook, so I guess that’s her reason for not talking to me. Regardless, it was not professional.
I am absolutely amazed at the staff here. I came in by myself with a fussy toddler for his bloodwork. Multiple staff members offered tissues, coloring, and toys while my son was crying and throwing a fit. They helped me keep him calm. They made getting his blood drawn a less stressful experience. I’m very grateful for their wonderful service!
My experience was really bad here today. I have been waiting an 1 1/2 to get my blood drawn. I see a mass exodus of phlebotomist leaving and laughing going to lunch with a lobby full of people. Can we not stagger lunch- so that patients are not just waiting for extended amounts of time?! I had just found out I was confirmed going through a miscarriage and in a tough space, then this. Not a good look.
Everyone is so friendly and quick! I feel like they really respect your time. Everyone from the receptionists to the phlebotomist, are all lovely. Bloodwork is not fun but they make it beyond bare-able. They’re wonderful!
