Back in 2021, I visited Dr. Nicolle Ionascu at Diablo Valley Neuropsychology for a neuropsych evaluation so I could obtain my Third Class Medical Certificate from the FAA. I needed this test done because the FAA had noticed in my medical records that I was diagnosed with being on the autism spectrum at around 5-6 years old. Go figure. Dr. Ionascu was a great help to me and my family. Her professional, friendly approach put my son at ease during his testing, and her results were thorough and well-documented. Dr. Ionascu assessed my teenage son to assess him for his pilot's license as part of an FAA requirement. She was always prompt in answering messages, and was a pleasure to work with. Everything was well explained. We travelled from far away (about 1,000 miles) to see her, and I'm glad we made the trip!
