Arrived by 6pm, it’s supposed to be open until 7:30pm. Doors are locked and lights are off in the lobby. Is it still in business? Not a single sign saying what’s going on. Maybe Summer break? Also called, no answer or message. I’ve been away for two months and was going to restart.
We dropped in from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada while travelling and Diablo CrossFit set the bar for what a drop in should feel like. Cat greeted us the moment we walked in, gave us a full tour of the facility, and could not have been more accommodating. I was hesitant to join another CrossFit gym after relocating to CA since these places can be hit or miss culture wise. This one completely exceeded my expectations!! The space is clean, large (pictures don’t do it justice), well-designed, and doesn’t have the typical grimy, run-down feel some CrossFit gyms can have.
