I found the office staff competent but not great. The worst part of the Staff is the NP I saw. Jeremy Schmitt stated to me, that he was an Endocrinologist. He is NOT!!!! He is only VERY recently a Nurse Practitioner. He doesn't seem to know that if you are checking on a thyroid issue, you gotta touch the neck. He also does not follow up with anyone on their bloodwork. He may have been having a bad week but you don't bring personal drama into a professional setting. And he did just that! I had a really bad experience at my last appointment. After a head injury I was following up on my various health issues, one of which was non medication for adhd, but because I had previosuly tested positive for THC and was asking if uncontrolled substances could be prescribed for it, the doctor refused to see me in an appointment I traveled an hour to attend that was also an hour and a half drive back. Oh, and he kept me waiting for almost an hour in an un air conditioned window room terribly hot to tell me he was refusing... read more
I was seeing Dr. B for my hypothyroidism, but I felt like he didn't have a lot of knowledge on how to accurately treat thyroidism. I had to advocate for myself regarding the treatments I was receiving, and the issues I was dealing with were due to my thyroid condition. Dr. B kept trying to dismiss my concerns, and his staff was unwelcoming and sometimes rude. It's frustrating to feel like I know more about my own thyroid condition than the endocrinologist. Still looking for a good endocrinologist.
What started out as a very positive experience here has turned into nothing but incompetence. Have been trying for almost two months to get a recommended medication, but only receive excuses and apologies on why the ball has been dropped so many times. This office is not proactive in your healthcare needs. Very disappointing.
