The lady that answered the phone was very very rude I like Dr Woo but I’m not going to put up with this!
I went to Dr Woo for a second opinion. I always believed he was the greatest doctor until I became his patient. He walked in for all of 2 minutes to tell me not to have surgery and walked out... Did not sit to talk to me either. Would not answer any of my questions. He did ask me why was I anemic and why was I losing weight?! What? I was hoping he could tell me. I really think Dr. Woo is a kind and helpful doctor and is doing well helping his patients. The experience I am so frustrated with is trying to get lab results that are very important for my treatment. It has been 10 days and he said the results would be back in 48 hours. I missed a call from the office because I was working. There was no voice mail left. I called back and was told they would let the nurses know and they would call me back. No call back... Had follow up appt with Dr Woo to repeat labs to see if my condition had improved. He diagnosed me with iron deficiency anemia which required an iron infusion. Also put me on medications for low potassium, low vitamin D, iron tablets, high parathyroidism and high Calcium levels noted. Thyroid surgery was suggested by another doctor.
