I write this while I’m sitting in the lobby. I’ve been here for 2 hours. I am leaving and I will not be returning. My wait at the hospital hasn’t been this long. There were 2 people ahead of me when I arrived 15mins early for my appointment. I will not be returning if you are referred here run don’t come here and the girl at the front desk is rude and unpleasant. I should’ve listened when I read the reviews. My insurance agent called this doctor office yesterday and also today at 8:59 am to get some information about my referral but Lesli kept answering the phone calls, and I don’t know why she hanged up twice yesterday and today at the beginning of the conversation

I really like Dr. Basu. But the office staff is inept at their jobs. A prescription was supposed to have been sent in for me, but still hasn’t been sent in after I’ve left numerous messages that I would be running out of the medication in a few days. I did have one person call me back saying that the prescription would be called in this morning. But as of 330 this afternoon, the pharmacy had not received it. Dr. Basu is a very smart and personable doctor who I have seen for several years now. However, enough is enough! His office rules and procedures are the worst! When he cancels appointments yet does not want to fill prescriptions because one has not been seen is not fair to the patient. Also his office opens at 0800and when you show up at 7:50 for your appointment and get told you are over 15 minutes late and your appointment is canceled is unfair. Enough!!! Dr. Basu and his staff are the most compassionate people I’ve ever met. He is so helpful and kind. No one wants to have RA or fibromyalgia, but he’s made the diagnoses bearable. He always listens to what I have to say and comes up with a plan, then makes sure I understand it. I would keep coming to see him even if I moved to another state. Highly recommend.
