Dealing with DHI Mortgage was a horrible experience. The Lending Officer that I first dealt with was incompetent, lacking attention to detail and basic grammar skills in email communications. Then, dealing with the 'Underwriters' was even more challenging. As someone who works in the industry, it was mind-blowing how incompetent their underwriters were. Worst experience. Come to find out they based my new homes taxes off of the land value and not the new dwelling after over a year of being in the home.
