I was staying at one of the hotels near 21st / Queensbridge, and wanted to eat somewhere close by. I have had Bangladeshi food a time or two, but I am generally unfamiliar with it. I asked the owner / chef what he recommended, and he recommended the beef biryani. It was excellent! You could tell it was home-made, and prepared with care. Didn’t have lot of expectations around ambiance but the place was clean & looked hygienic which was important for me. My main expectation was to get nice food with staff caring to serve customers - the gentleman at the counter and the lady who was switching between the kitchen & the counter made sure that they gave a feeling that your business is valued.
