I fell in love with sewing since my childhood. When I was 2 years old, my grandmother had a very old sewing machine. I came to that machine raise foot to put my finger under machine foot, lower foot and turn the wheel; big needle penetrated my tiny finger I start crying; my mother came immediately remove needle from my finger; that time she was pregnant in late stage of pregnancy and same day she rushes to the hospital and my sister was born 3 weeks earlier than expected. Bought a dress to big for Prom Dmitry made it fit perfectly😍
I’ve never been to Dmitriy before but I found him through his great reviews on google and Facebook when looking to get my two new suits altered. I’d just like to say that he is a master of the craft. 100% would recommend him to anyone and everyone. He took my off the shelf suit and made it look like a custom tailored suit just for me. Thank you Dmitriy for the solid work, you better believe I’ll be back again.
RecommendedBest alterations by far in Baltimore and surrounding areas. Because I am three separate sizes (bust-waist-hips) I have an impossible time finding the right fit. I ordered a beautiful pinup dress from the UK (meant to hug the curves!) and it fit TERRIBLY - way too big in the waist and hips. In spite of feeling forlorn, Dimitry saved the day! I unfortunately left alterations for my bridesmaid dress to the last minute and searched Facebook and Yelp for a place to take it. I found DG Alterations and made the appointment online. Dmitriy was very accommodating and addressed my concerns about the length and an issue I had with the back of the dress. The back of the dress had a cut out and the fabric puckered out a bit. this place is incredible I came in with a jacket that the back had been torn out completely and he was able to repair it looks good as new. I also had a very strange request of a zipper being put into my Halloween costume he was also able to do that. great place great service highly recommend.
