I had called this company to receive a quote for security services. The individual who collected my information provided me with a quote. When I informed him that I was not in the position to have my credit checked due to the request of my bank he informed me that he checked my credit without my consent. This was very upsetting as a company is legally required to ask my permission before checking a credit score. DFW Security is a total rip off. After 25 months of faihtfully and punctually paying my service fees, I tried to move my servcies to a new location. Note, I never used the included calls maintenance or repair. However, when trying to move my services, I was told I had to pay $250 to ge that done. I really regret that I chose this company to service my business and residential security needs! Were very sorry this happened but would like the opportunity to correct the record. Both of the incidents you mention were done by contractors you hired after our installation. One of them cut the wires to the monitor, causing it to short out and then another re-wired a power source to make room for a new freezer. We have had service for over 10 years. I know that there was a contract and I just read it again yesterday to refresh company client/responsibilities. I am not guiltless in my maintenance. What I didn't know is that once our land line was terminated that my alarm had no way to communicate. To reactivate I would need to purchase a communicator for continued service.
