good place to hang out if you like to know about photo eq – I feel kinda at home when i am inside the shop. they are knowledgeable and happy to help even if you don't buy anything or asking for bargain.
The Crew at Dexter's Camera are awesome! They are honest and friendly and They seem to know all about photography and cameras both old and new. They also have a killer camera collection in the store thats worth stopping in to take a look. All in all my experinces there have always been great, and they always seem to have what i need no matter how random, and if they dont have it they seem to jump through hoops to get it for me!!!
Dexters is the best! – We have been dealing with Dexter's for over twelve years now and there have been many times they have been the only Camera store we could find the equipment we needed and if they did not have it in stock they have ordered on the spot and get whatever we needed on time and at a great cost and there staff is the best. Great Service – i met these guys because i needed a battery for my 1d for a shoot one morning. my battery was completely dead after being on the charger overnight, not good. i went into dexters to see if they had one for sale, which they did, but it wasn't charged. the owner was nice enough to let me barrow his; he didn't even ask for a deposit! its hard to find places like that today. they don't carry everything, but if your looking for a fair price or some used gems, this is the place to go. the hundreds of dusty antique c... read more
WORSE PLACE EVER – It took over two weeks just to get prints from two negatives!!!! i could of done it faster my self! this has to be one of the worse places in ventura county to make photos. If you ever have a deadline to meet do not take it to Dexters, you are almost promised that you ll miss the date. F*CK DEXTERS!!!
