I LOVE DEXA BODY!!! Everyone there is so kind and informative! This is hands down the BEST way to see detailed lean tissue, fat mass, viseral fat, bone density, and RMR suggested caloric intake data. I get body scans every few months to track my body fat% and keep myself in a healthy range while I compete in body building competitions and come out of preps as healthy as possible. The appointment for a DEXA scan went very smoothly. The scan lasted just six minutes, and the follow up explanation of results was clear. The only issue I have is that my bone density results showed solid bones, but my DEXA scan at Sharp Medical group showed borderline osteoporosis. Which one is correct? Also, why scan the skull? It seems like unnecessary extra radiation exposure.
The dexa tech was friendly and made the quick experience fly by while talking and answering questions we had. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Little piece of advice: if you are thinking about or starting your fitness journey and are unhappy with the way you look or feel or you are the ‘biggest’ you’ve ever been, schedule your dexa right now. Booking my scan was easy. I called and someone answered quickly. The cost is affordable and the location is convenient. The scan itself was quick and easy. The woman who performed my scan and gave me my results was kind and professional. You get the results immediately after the scan. I highly recommend Dexa Body!
