My father stays full time at De Wolfe House and my mother stayed for two weeks while we were on a trip. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It’s not a facility it’s a home and for mom a home away from home. Staff are friendly and professional, often going above and beyond. Dad has dementia and they are very patient with him and truly work to preserve his humanity. They have never made him feel less than or a burden. The staff had been wonderful and caring since my Aunt was admitted to Dewolf. She is now in hospice and the excellent care continues. We are blessed to have a caring health care team.
DeWolfe staff are the most caring, loving people to my mom. We love that it's small, we know the staff by name and they know us. They keep it spotless and are always touching up paint, cleaning carpets, and decorating for every holiday. They pay attention to residents, their likes, dislikes and special needs. Need to hire more staff. Don't really interact with the hospice residents need to be more attentive to their needs.
I live at DeWolfe Place and I am very happy with it here. I love the art/activities room and expanding my creativity. The staff are friendly and so helpful and everyone has made me feel so at home. My apartment is cozy and efficient and I am enjoying making it my home. I can feed and watch birds right outside my window and I get an occasional squirrel too! I feel lucky to have found an opening to move in to DeWolfe Place.
