I just want to say that I loved it here at the UES. I loved the attention and the care on the 16th floor, the CNA’s especially Cassandra, made me feel warm and welcome everyday. The medical staff especially the nurses worked so well for me and I really appreciated the care during my time here.
Upon reflecting on my 3-month ‘vacation’ away at my ‘summer home’, 211 East 79th Street, the Upper East Side Rehabilitation and Nursing Center I believe it has been one of the most profound experiences of my life. Considering what happened, this facility's highest rating should be "0". On May 6, 2024 I received a call from a friend in their care who had been admitted a few days prior. He said he had been buzzing and buzzing the nurses' station as HE WAS HAVING A HEART ATTACK!!! but no one came. This patient was a doctor so he knew he was in grave danger of dying. I put him on hold and called the nurses station myself and informed the nurse who answered of the emergency and said to call an ambulance immediately! Then I switched the lin... read more
