My wife and I spent a pleasant afternoon here about two weeks back on a weekday. The Hudson River views really are the highlight - we sat on a bench for quite a while just enjoying the scenery. It's a nice, quiet park considering it's in the middle of Manhattan, which is exactly what we were looking for. The pathways could use a bit of maintenance, but overall we had a lovely time.

Caught some incredible golden hour light hitting the Hudson from this spot a couple weeks ago, and the park absolutely delivered. The way the water reflects the late afternoon sun creates these perfect moody tones if you know where to position yourself. Not too crowded on weekdays, which made for some great uncluttered shots of the skyline. Definitely coming back when the seasons change.

My family and I stumbled across this park a couple weeks ago while walking around Hell's Kitchen, and it was such a nice surprise. We ended up spending over an hour just sitting on the grass watching the sunset over the Hudson, which honestly felt like a hidden gem compared to the crowded tourist spots. The park is pretty small but that's actually one of the best things about it - way fewer people than Central Park and still lots of space to relax. Grabbed some time here last Saturday morning and really appreciated how peaceful it was compared to the other parks I usually hit. The view of the Hudson from the seating areas is genuinely nice, and it felt like a good escape from the Midtown chaos without having to go too far uptown. Could use a bit more seating, but the open layout keeps it from feeling cramped. Solid spot for a quick break or to just hang out with a coffee.
