My tea length wedding dress and short veil were returned in an heirloom box, that I opened at the counter in front of the owner, as she tried to tell me NOT to open it.....I opened it anyway because it took them almost 6 months for them to have it “cleaned and boxed” after multiple inquiries from me about where it was and why it was taking soooo long. DeWitt Cleaners is top notch!! It is a family business that has served its community for over 60 years!! I highly recommend them!
After three years of using this cleaners they suddenly ripped four different shirts in the same exact place. Clearly they were having an issue with the mechanical process. One shirt was brand new and the others were not that old at all. The owner said it was because I am wearing out the elbow on the left sleeve. When I pointed out that one of the shirts was brand new she had a new theory: the color blue is more susceptible to tearing.
