Dewey's is a good local bar, perfect for after-work happy hours. While it seems popular, it doesn't get too crowded. The bar food is pretty delish, consisting of sliders, wings and quesadillas, among other things. Drinks include your typical full bar and bartenders are pretty friendly. The upstairs area is usually reserved for private events / work functions, but downstairs is always open for socializing. Good local bar to grab a drink.
They lure you in with the awesome happy hour ($5 Margaritas are a win here), but mismanage the heck out of the place in such a way you probably won't want to come back. The bouncer or security guy is completely clueless. He checks your ID as your walking in, and then comes by to check again. OK, I get it, I shouldn't shave before coming here, but really, it's not MY fault your bouncer does so many drugs he doesn't even remember if he checked my ID or not.
