I've used Carter sod in past with good results. The delivery driver was great. Fast and placed sod where I wanted.however, the forklift and truck made a mess out if my driveway and street due to massive leakage of fuel, oil, ect. 2 weeks and still here.gonna have to pressure wash driveway i guess. Sod was mediocre at best. 5 pallets and halfway through each pallet sod pieces were cut way too thin and fell apart. About 20% was handfuls of dirt/scraps. Don't buy from them you'll regret it. Go anywhere else. Here are some pictures. I drove twenty miles farther to suncoast. I paid more and was very happy to do so. That garbage I got from dewey carter, needs to be ripped out of my yard.

So after searching around town and multiple sod quotes on a personal yard replacement of centipede (7 pallets), I decided to give Dewey Carter’s a chance. Bottom line, the negative reviews on here all boil down to lack of communication and/or people skills. Laura was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. She changed around delivery schedule to fit my unique rushed needs, the delivery driver was on time and helpful, and the prices are the best around. I dont know if there is a language barrier or what, but I've called on 3 occasions explaining that I wanted to pick up a pallet of St Augustin, and each time I was told something different. A month ago, I was told there are no pre-orders. Today, I was finally able to make my way to grab some right at open. I called yesterday to set everything up. Very customer oriented and service is top notch. Had 3 pallets delivered and good quality no weeds and no bugs. WIl go back for any future needs. Support your local businesses Mrs. Laura and Mr Harvey are great. I recommend you guys give them the chance. I'm satisfied for all they did.
