I bought some tires from craigslist- jerry the tire guy recommend I get them mounted at Dewey Auto, Great price! $60 mount and balance. Very happy about that. The down side. One of the workers (hispanic guy) took a hammer to my rotors warped them good. Said he needed to free up the rust on them. WTF? drove my car home with a shimmy in the steering wheel. Now I need all new brakes and Rotors.. thanks a lot.
EXCELLENT SERVICE! I WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY DRIVER REAR TIRE; AIR WOULDN'T STAY IN IT, SO I LOOKED ON LINE FOR A PLACE NEARBY. I WAS PREPARING TO TURN INTO THEIR LOT AND BEFORE I EVEN PULLED UP INTO THEIR ESTABLISHMENT THEY HAD THE AIR HOSE OUT AND READY TO ASSIST ME. THEY MOTIONED ME TO PULL FORWARD AND LOOKED AT THE TIRE. THEY SAID THEY NOTICED THE TIRE FROM THE STREET. I TOLD THEM I NEEDED A GOOD USED TIRE. THEY HAD ONE AND WITHIN ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES I WAS DONE. Shop correctly identified car as having a severe engine problem, but that is the only positive I can say about them. Overall, their work is careless and sloppy. I would recommend checking their work after service. I spent months and over $2000 to repair the parts that they damaged during the installation of a used engine, including an expensive exhaust/emission control parts, oil pan, hoses, air filter box, and electrical harnesses.
