Implied that my tools would be able to be repaired under the 3 year warranty when I spoke to the lady at the front desk. The next day when I brought them in she said it could cost almost 200 dollars for relatively cheap drill and impact driver repairs and she couldn't tell me if it would be covered under warranty. "Only the tech could determine if it's under warranty", but if I leave them there then I'd be obligated to pay for the repair if it wasn't under warranty. Took a planer to them last summer 2024 to have a belt replaced as it was under warranty. No one has made any repairs to the tool before r since. Belt shredded again this summer. Decided to repair myself. The pulley, which should be able to be removed with a hand, was stuck on like someone had hammered it into place. Took consoderable effort, tool repair forums and consults with other machanics to figure out how to get it off. Now it slides off/on without issue. Why even have a phone number? They never answer the phone and will not call you back if you leave a message. These guys are brilliant. Choose a crap product line to repair so you are sooooo busy you never have to provide customer service.
Warranty and customer service is horrible at dewalt. Product came with rusted parts and after 8 weeks still waiting for a replacement to be shipped. warranty will be up by the time I get it at this point.
