In the circumstances, when Nadia was cleaning my teeth, I had a sort of trauma when I choked and couldn't get my breath, which made me very upset and frightened. She kept vey calm, called my daughter Katharine in and generally tried her hardest for me to get my breath back and Richard also came in and was very sympathetic.... I felt really upset and worried. I've been a patient of this practice for over 60 years and I've always received first class treatment. I generally stay with one dentist and one hygienist until they retire. On this occasion I met the dental practitioner for the first time for a check up. He was friendly and thorough, taking a single X-ray which he showed me. He noted two unstable lower incisors and advised that the lower 4 incisors be "connected" together to stabilize them. This was carried out successfully under local anaesthetic. It was late Friday morning and a broken tooth that was due to be extracted at my local dentists in a couple of weeks was suddenly giving me some pain. Devonshire were able to fit me in at 5.30pm the same day. Richard Malloch had already viewed the scans I had emailed over and assessed what was needed. He proceeded to take the problem tooth out with what seemed to me consummate ease and skill at the same time as talking me through and providing reassurance. I am very grateful for such a response.
