Nasty, terrible, careless staff. Gave me the wrong stuff for my eye and made me temporary blind. Going to report and sue as this has left permanent damage to my cornea.
WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? Those were the words my mom received at the hospital triage desk. My mom was in severe pain. Her doctor had instructed her to return to the hospital if the pain became unbearable. When she could no longer tolerate it, she went back as advised. We were also told that notes would be added to her file so the team could assist her promptly without requiring her to wait in the ER for an extended period. “Who do you think you are?” That was the statement given to my mom in the emergency after requesting to see the doctor, as it was the second day we came back, as the pain meds didn’t really work, and the doctor said come back to the ER and tell the nurse in the triage that she has been seen the day before so that she doesn’t have to wait too long in the ER, and that’s what we got! “Who do you think you are?”.
