The land is beautiful. The devil's nest is made up of the hills and ravines with the thick trees. We purchased land to enjoy the outdoors. It has become my place to come to unwind. So much wildlife to enjoy. Deer, bobcats, coyotes, and mountain lions. Sadly the developers are taking out trees to allow for new construction. Another beautiful property being taken over by greedy people. Preserve the historic and beautiful devil's nest.
I DONT WANT NO DEVILS IN MY PLACE OF RESIDENCE
It's a long windy road to get there once you pass the big sign that says Devil's nest. Although, there are lots of deer along the way and if you like looking into Forest/ trees it's also very scenic. Once you get to the bottom at the fishing area there's not a whole lot of space, but the catfish are huge. There are also sturgeon, bluegill I was told, pretty much any fish you would find in the Missouri is there. It's a very still wide round area with very steep Rock Cliffs surrounding it. Plenty of lots for sale but would cost a fortune for dirt work and tree removal....owners would be better clearing some trees and doung a bit of dirt work so buyers could get an idea of what they are buying
