Beautiful hike, crisp air, cold water, great hike
This trail closes in the winter and doesn’t reopen until March 1!!!!! First of all, why? So disappointed to drive all that way to find a locked gate! And why does the above time say open 24/7?
Enjoyable hike to the falls in early October. The signs along the trail do not say Devil’s Den Falls. With that said, if you just stay left on the trail you should eventually make it there. Be aware that there are a few pieces of rebar sticking up along the trail. Also there is a $3 parking permit needed as well. Would recommend bringing exact change. Furthermore, the gps location brings you to the actual falls. You have to drive a little further and park then hike back to the falls.
