I just brewed a Holiday Beer at Devils Canyon, and it turned out better than any of my homebrew attempts at a Holiday flavor. The first time I brewed with these guys (last year), I made an Amber Ale that was a modified version of their Thomas Morgan Amber, and it was excellent. In fact, I received several compliments on it from friends. Anyway, the margin of error for brewing is greatly reduced when you brew here, thanks to the great equipment and expertise of the staff. My friend Pat invited me to an event at this brewery, and I tasted the best habanero beer Ive ever tasted. OK, the ONLY habanero beer Ive ever tasted, and as I sipped it I couldnt help but notice all of the troubles of the world disintegrate away precisely in the same way that the tiny bubbles of foam atop a good lager shrink away. As I sampled several of the other beers, I forgot those troubles ever existed.
