Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. We had a showing scheduled for the morning and were genuinely interested in renting the property. On the morning of the scheduled showing, we received a message saying the property had been rented sight unseen because someone submitted a damage deposit overnight.
Devereaux Property Management is a strong local company with a team that works hard to keep things running smoothly for both owners and tenants. They are approachable, professional, and quick to address questions or concerns when they come up. I strongly suggest everyone who is renting from and has a problem with these people to double check with Alberta laws and or even ask your ai on your phones which is were I learned what they and everything they have done up to this date has been basically illegal or done completely wrong. Which makes what actions they have taken to date for me had been null and void . The home i was living in for 5 years was taken over by this company.
