*update* ended up staying with DM for over 5 years. Been coming here (Aberfoyle) with 2 of my children for over a year now. An incredibly popular and busy place because they are brilliant. Worth the wait if you are on the wait list. Admin staff are friendly and helpful. We've interacted with a number of the psychologists and all have been amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone needing help with their children.
The psychologist was quick to “label” but were unable to help, they seemed to have a ‘script/agenda’ for sessions and unable to provide advice outside of this, not good with multiple or complex issues, not able to help intelligent teens and gave solutions for a much younger age (would suit 5 years of age), a 6 month gap is imposed whether the client still need care or not, very disappointing care given all their hype and referrals they receive, not a caring, supportive atmosphere. Be careful with this business.
