This is by far the worst transmission shop I’ve ever dealt with. Family owned, and family crooks. They had my truck for 7 months. Told me it was one thing another. Told me it needed a transmission harness so I bought one, $3500. Then told me it was my transmission. They supposedly rebuilt the transmission, but my truck wouldn’t drive because of all the damage they did to my wiring in the truck. The shop had to deliver my truck because it wouldn’t drive. DISHONEST MANAGEMENT and ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. In Oct 2024, Detroit Transmission replaced our Ram’s flex plate with a Mopar OEM part. By June 2025, the part failed. Tim repeatedly claimed it was out of warranty due to mileage (over 15k miles) and charged us $2,576 for a second replacement. I did the legwork Tim refused to do: I verified with three other shops and two Dodge dealers that the Mopar part actually has a 2-year UNLIMITED mileage warranty.
