Quiet at the airport today!
As a Delta "elite" frequent flier, if on a trip that requires a connection, I will go out of my way to travel through DTW. Even at its busiest times the Mc Namara terminal never feels congested.
The McNamara terminal is enormous with 3 concourses comprising it. Make sure you leave enough time to travel between them, as there is no shuttle (like at Hartsfield) connecting them.
This is my first time in Detroit! I actually liked taking the shuttle so I could walk through the psycadelic tunnel! Spacey but cool! Welcome back #1970's
Underground tunnel is a pretty neat experience (cool light colors). Sora Japanese Cuisine is a nice spot for sushi...
Free wifi!! Love it!!
A looooong way from one end of the airport to the other - wear comfy shoes, and enjoy the light show in the tunnel to concourses B & C - very neat!
Missed a flight in Detroit and had to wait a couple of hours till the next one. Completely amazed with the comfort on this one. The indoor tram and water fountain are certainly entertaining to watch!
One of the best Delta terminals !!
