Dr Elms is so easy to talk to. He’s one of the few docs I’ve seen lately who doesn’t face a computer, typing while talking to you. I felt at ease and listened to. I’d highly recommend him.
Excellent care provided by nurses, in particular, Effie with their optimistic aura and engaging personality, which brightened up the downside of having difficult veins to capture for an iron infusion. Kudos, Niles.
Profits over patients? Even though my Mom clearly wasn't ready for discharge, Dr Wendell pushed for it, so Mom could resume her out-patient chemo $$$$$. They just kept pushing more and more diuretics. Even though her kidney function was clearly in decline (I'm an RN), they still discharged her from Lutheran General Hospital. At rehab, she quickly developed significant mental status changes, so we brought her to a different hospital. She was found to be in total kidney failure and she died. Not pleased with being diagnosed with cancer, but the people at Illinois Cancer Specialists have be wonderful to me. Dr. Elms has been great. Caring, compassionate, encouraging... and has answered all of my questions. I love the upbeat feeling in their blood drawing area with the celebratory tree that changes with each holiday. And of course, Julie, in the CT area is a national treasure. Thanks to all in this office.
Dr Hakimian is somebody that I trust implicitly. He's somebody that gives me confidence about my health plan and is someone I highly reccomend. Should anybody need services that he provides, I can't say enough good things. Ya wanna know...trust this review and make an appointment.
