Dr. Elms has been wonderful, he tells it like it is, he has my best interest at heart
Dr Elms is so easy to talk to. He’s one of the few docs I’ve seen lately who doesn’t face a computer, typing while talking to you. I felt at ease and listened to. I’d highly recommend him.
Excellent care provided by nurses, in particular, Effie with their optimistic aura and engaging personality, which brightened up the downside of having difficult veins to capture for an iron infusion. Kudos, Niles.
Profits over patients? Even though my Mom clearly wasn't ready for discharge, Dr Wendell pushed for it, so Mom could resume her out-patient chemo $$$$$. They just kept pushing more and more diuretics. Even though her kidney function was clearly in decline (I'm an RN), they still discharged her from Lutheran General Hospital. At rehab, she quickly developed significant mental status changes, so we brought her to a different hospital. She was found to be in total kidney failure and she died.
