I do not recommend. We used Catie’s services for our destination, small wedding in July. I contacted and communicated with Catie prior to posting this review. She refused to take responsibility, or even acknowledge the issues that we expressed. The ceremony itself, our vows: beautiful on the cliffside as envisioned. The result is that we ultimately got married in a beautiful place, but we do not recommend Catie as a coordinator.
Catie was our wedding planner and we can’t recommend her enough. My husband and I had the most incredible day that was absolutely seamless. Everything was incredible. She connected us with the best vendors, took so much stress off of us, and helped make our day go perfectly. She was incredibly flexible with COVID and all of the changes that took place. It's taken me some time to write this review as I don't typically enjoy expressing negative opinions, especially unsolicited online ones. I wanted to reach out to Catie after my wedding to express my disappointment but I knew there was nothing she could do to change the outcome of the day. Catie did a fantastic job at our family wedding in June 2022 held at Live Well Farm in Harpswell. Catie made sure everything was properly organized and was key to the wedding going fully as planned. Highly recommended.
I live in Texas and am planning an elopement in Maine. My personal experience was that she did not give proactive updates or really even follow up. Additionally, I was not provided an estimate for her costs. My last email from her was 3 1/2 weeks ago. I did not email her back and nearly a month has passed, and she has not followed up to see what hotel we chose from the list she sent. I ended up calling one of the hotels directly, and they have been wonderful. So overall, would not recommend.
