Excellent location . The price incredible for this area and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent , hot fresh actually better than other high dollar hotels I’ve stayed in . You won’t find a better place at this price . I will totally recommend this place to any friends or family visiting Destin.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience at Destin West was incredibly disappointing. We arrived to find dirty, sandy sheets and were greeted by a live cockroach the moment we walked in the door. We immediately called the front desk to report the situation, and it took six hours before anyone responded. When the housekeeping manager, Cora, finally showed up, she was incredibly disrespectful.
