on vacation, car died, had it towed here. David called and said fuel pump shorted and burned wires. quote of $1100 for pump and burnt harness replacement, after work finished, almost $1500. asked for old parts. said were discarded. half way home, died again. towed to a mechanic i trust. fuel pump was broken when they put it in. he replaced pump FOR A 1/3 OF THE COST, said couldnt find where harness replaced or repaired. called David, never could tell me which harness, eventually said not replace but repaired. my mechanic cou... read more
