I threw a surprise party for my parents 50th anniversary in Ocean City. I placed the order over the phone since I live out of town. From the initial call to picking up the cake my experience was awesome!! And the cake...The best we’ve ever had!! It was so good we will now pick up a “just because” cake every summer we come to Ocean City! Thank you so much for a beautiful, delicious cake and awesome customer service. My parents loved their cake!
While the cupcakes were good and looked nice, the customer service was terrible at best. I would not return or recommend based on the very frustrating customer service experience alone. If you run into any issues, please know that the customer will be at fault.
Hi Rita! I just wanted to share with you how much I love and appreciate your cakes! They are absolutely to die for. Best cakes I ever had! I wish I would of known about your cakes from the first day you opened your cute shop! I chose desserts by Rita for my wedding day! After trying countless amounts of bakeries I knew this was it! The cake is wonderful, it takes fresh and perfect! The cupcakes were SO GOOD! Everyone of my guests took home cupcakes at the end of the night because they tasted so great! The cake is stunning! I am so pleased with how everything turned out & I highly recommend desserts by Rita! They made everything exactly how i wanted it! Thank you so much for all of your hard work!
The strawberry cake with buttercream icing was the best cake I ate in my life. The cake with a trip to the beach was hands down the best birthday gift 💝
Hands down very talented art goes into these cakes. However the business and Customer experience is incredibly awful!! I ordered a cake for 80 people for our April 2020 Anniversary celebration. Due to COVID it had to be cancelled (beyond our control by ALL means). Very disappointing time and to get this back from this business is unacceptable. We are fortunate to have many customers who understand our no refund policy and happily take a shop credit to use anytime ,especially during a pandemic. You received way more than a partial refund which you cashed on 6/4/2020. I told you the day you ordered it please do not pay in full in the event you need to cancel . It does state on our receipts no refunds . None of could have planned on this pandemic which has majorly effected us all . I got a lemon cake with a vanilla buttercream for my Husbands birthday, during quarantine, and it was hands down the best cake I’ve ever had.
