Dr. Dess is not focused on problem solving. In the two years that my son saw him, he was never able to even describe what his approach was to try to make things better. He just had meandering conversations that never went anywhere or helped in any way. Sadly we just wasted time and a considerable amount of money without any improvement or even a plan for improvement.
Dr. Dess is the kindest person ever! If you are looking for a great psychologist for your family, I highly highly recommend.
Dr. Dess is truly an amazing, insightful, advocate for children and families. He was instrumental in my son’s adjustment during a very difficult family situation. Scam artist who gets referrals from an attorney of which they have worked together for 30 years. Tried to hold me to a 600 dollar deposit when exactly 30 minutes of time was used. Then he attempted to ruin my credit by sending it to collections when I refused to pay for services not rendered. Stay clear of Dr. Dess!
