I’ve been coming to despinas since they moved to main st in Binghamton. Once I heard there were new owners, I was skeptical on ordering food because as I know it, Despina herself does it best. I decided to give it a try since I’m on a little break from work and wanted to treat myself. Unfortunately, the pita bread was cold and stale. The chicken was dry and had an odd taste to it. Absolutely wonderful little restaurant with a super friendly staff. I have never had Mediterranean food before and the new Owner was so friendly and patient with me, definitely one of my new favorites around.

To be greeted by the new owners, was such a delight. I was afraid the menu would change and the vibe would be different. I can’t tell you how authentic this restaurant has stayed. My food came out at the perfect temperature with healthy sides. come, stop in and see for yourself Just how amazing this restaurant is! Five stars is not enough
