It's one of the most hidden spots in plain site behind a grocery store. A friend of mine who's GM at a Spanish spot put me on to them a few years back. Many Spanish restaurants buy their Spanish groceries for here. They have a little seating area in the back and a bunch of tapas. It a great way to get your Spanish Tapas fix. The staff is always super friendly. They also have wine. If you're craving tapas, give them a try.
A truly authentic Spanish experience, right down the service. I’ve been to Despaña a few times over the years, for paella saturdays, shopping for imported goods and lunch. I was so happy that they were open until 9pm now. However, it is a much more limited menu. We made a reservation for 2 people 8pm and had to put a card down for a $25 no show fee.
