Dr De Souza is the best doctor I’ve found, period. And I’ve worked with doctors all over the western USA. He’s helped all of the ladies of my family, including my aunts, mother and grandmother, with family history of hyper-hypo thyroid. He has reassured me in so many ways, and helped me to stop worrying about my health (excellent bedside manner). Not super impressed. I felt like after being a diabetic for almost 10 years, that I knew more then he could teach me. Chided me for a small scoop of granola in yogurt, then suggested I use just fruit. Uhm... Both spike sugar, soooo yeah. Then his receptionist called about a refill for my dexcom and was extremely rude. I should have just told her I was looking for a new endocrinologist because I am EXTREMELY unimpressed with him as a doctor and the office staff as well.
