I had an amazing experience with Tara. This was my first time going to a barber after years of just buzzing my own hair, and I honestly didn’t know exactly what I wanted because it had been so long. Tara made me feel completely comfortable, offered helpful suggestions, listened to what felt right for me, and gave me one of the most gender-affirming haircuts I’ve ever had. Mykel blew it out of the park!! I was so worried because my 13-year-old has had the same haircut his entire life but, was ready for a change. He walked in, indecisive on what to do but, Mykel had it covered. They agreed on a style mykel suggested and we put our trust into the process. My son got about 3ft out of the door and started the happy dance. I've been looking for a while for a barber that made me feel comfortable and got my style and this was definitely the right place to go Tara took the extra time to understand exactly what I was hoping for, while getting what quirks with my hair she had to work with.
