Richard took the time to check updated prices which depended on fabric and hardware and I think we saved some money. Very helpful quality furniture that is bound to outlive us. We are old. I thought we were going to outlive the furniture we already had but Alice says “no” Edit- So sorry. I can’t figure out how to fix this review. This should be for the Dallas Northpark Mall location. We visited the Austin Domain location also. We were scouting at that time and it was an equally excellent place.
Update: I filed a warranty claim with a local authorized dealer of Herman Miller. They approved the warranty claim, ordered the parts (the entire seat pan) which arrived in 3 weeks, had me take the chair in and replaced the seat pan within an hour. The repair person also noted that the original seat pan was definitely faulty, and laughed at the fact that DWR denied the warranty claim. I have had a few Herman Miller chairs (Aeron, 2x Embody) and some from other name brands (Leap, Gesture) over the years. In September 2024 I purchased an Embody for home use. After a few weeks of ownership, I realized that the front edge of the seat has collapsed. See photo: the plastic support has lost its elasticity, and one can press down with just fingers.
