Don't Deal with Them Appalling company. We gave them several items to sell. We went into the store a few weeks later and noticed that the items were not on the floor. We inquired about our item and were told that one in particular was "Broken on installation" AKA... they broke them while they were trying to display them. They then tried to hide the accident by stating that it was "donated" to the store. Really??? The item was priced by them at 65 dollars. T. Henton I have been going to Design by Exchange for about 3 years. I have bought and sold items with this company and no matter what you are looking for they will have it or it will come through. The more you check back the chance you will pay less or loose the item you spotted. It's a gamble but so much fun. Good quality to use immediately or refinish to your liking. Blatantly rude and nasty. Visited for the first time today. Was interested in purchasing artwork and furniture for my new place. They have nice items, but I refuse to spend my money where I'm not welcome. The lady at the front desk was so rude, her tone was condescending, her body language was very defensive, she was overall rude. She embarrassed me in front of other customers by talking loud, pointing her finger at me. A Shoppers Must Visit We love shopping here - there is something new each time we visit. Design By Exchange is perfect for someone who does not want to pay a tremendous amount of money, yet appreciates good quality furniture. You'll also find delghtful treasures like lamps, paintings and others items here as well. Customer Visited this store several times, but recently their customer service skills were lacking. Interested in making a large purchase and when inquired about price we were told--"I haven't priced that yet and won't get to it today." Then they walked off. Stop by Often Regardless of your taste in design, this place has it.From Retro to Modern, knotty pine to Mahogany. Check it out, and if you haven't been there in a while, check it out again. Merchandise constantly in and out of the place. Now, the sisters can even hook you up with a " Interior Re-Designer" or "Clutter Coordinator" if you're stuck and need advice.
Awesome Deals I bought an Antique 5 piece bedroom set from the store one year ago. I looked & looked for months elsewhere. A ad in the local paper got me to stop by. I absolutely love the one I purchased there. I like to mix new w/old & this is the place to do it. They owners are very nice too! Highly recommended for people that have the eye to take old & make it your style & those that just want to buy & leave as it as is. cHECK IT OUT!
