This was the worst experience of my life. They have still not fulfilled our installation despite getting over $100k from us. Huge promises from the sales people from the start turned into a nightmare for us. Once they got our money, they did not care anymore. We signed the contract for the system in April 2022. I was "hired" by Design 1 two and a half weeks ago with a start date of tomorrow. Watched training videos, sent direct deposit info for onboarding and everything. 2 days ago I recieved an email from indeed that they've chosen not to move forward, and my point of contact ghosted me with no explanation why. If you're like me and can't afford to sit around for weeks, waiting on a job you might not get for no apparent reason, probably don't even consider this company. Never had an employer pull anything like this. Unbelievable

Waiting for final inspection already for 3 months. Also Waiting for rebates that are supposed to aprove but not send yet. Now I'm stuck paying solar loan and electric bill 😡.
Really good company for solar. Great explanation, no obligations, and really work with you to make a system that fits what you want. We couldn’t make it work with my current financial situation (so it goes in 2021), but when I do go solar, D1G will be the company I go with. Y’all, I didn’t even buy a system and they were still the most professional, honest, and friendly company to work with. Hands down.
