Dr. Deshpande performed my colonoscopy and he was very nice, he explained everything clearly, and answered all the questions that I had. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and and very nice person.
The office staff that works with Dr. Deshpande is about as poor as they come. Getting a referral took a couple of weeks, scheduled a procedure and than was called night before that they forgot to get the insurance approved although they had 45 days to get it done. Receptionist at Somers Point location could not be more rude. Very disappointing.
Dr. Deshpande is an excellent physician. When I went to him about a year ago, he was very swift in dealing with the issues. He wasted no time getting me in for the tests I needed and he ensured appropriate follow up. Recently, I had to go back to see him (more stomach issues, but different than before). He remembered me and showed genuine concern for these new symptoms. Dr. Deshpande's bedside manner is excellent. He is caring, and good at explaining things and putting you at ease.
