Its a great yarn store. I was in Moab of a bike event and found it. As a spinner and knitter, it was a delight. Great yarn and fibers. Had a delight Saturday afternoon spinning with the group. I highly recommend a stop.
We visited Moab for Spring Break last week and I was delighted to find this wonderful local yarn store right in the center of town. I visited three times and had to buy the wonderful local yarn from Cunnington Farms, as you do. Cathy the owner and her sister Rosie are delightful, knowledgeable and so welcoming. I even went along to Knit Night on Wednesday 7-9pm. What fun! Don't miss this fantastic local yarn store if you're a knitter, crocheter, felter or weaver!!
Went to Desert Thread while on vacation in Moab. The owner was helpful and knowledgable. A nice selection of quality yarn and knitting supplies. I would definitely recommend visiting this store if you are in the area.
I visited Desert Thread while on vacation with my family. I loved their selection of yarn and fiber, especially the hand-dyed and local fibers! I purchased several pounds of fiber for a class I will be teaching, and the prices were better than I could get most anywhere else. A special, hand-dyed wool/silk blend also came home with me. The owner was friendly, and I had a fun time chatting. I live in northern NM and know many people who travel to Moab. I will definitely recommend Desert Thread to them! :)

A Jewel and oasis in the heart of Moab. Warm, helpful, and welcoming staff. Well stocked with luscious fibers as well as the usual workhorses. A "MUST VISIT" Locale for every Fiber Enthusiast!
