I waited about 6 months for an appointment (I was ok with that.) I've had issues with my thyroid for years, untreated. I'm an ex-vet, 6ft 4 active athlete desperate for help because my test were high for a long period of time and I was feeling all the symptoms. My mother has been receiving care from Desert Sky, with NP, Mercy George for nearly a year, and we couldn't be more pleased with the patient care. She is kind, caring, and understanding. She listens and works with my moms condition. The staff provides outstanding customer service and is quick to respond through their text message system. I often use it for scheduling appointments, refilling medications, or communicating with the provider. We are satisfied with Desert Sky Endocrinology.
My experience with Desert Sky has been nothing but positive. Both the front desk and the medical assistant are kind. One of the gals at the front desk may be eating/drinking on occasion when I sign in or check out, but amazingly, I have seen that done at other medical offices, too. I can overlook it as long as she treats me in a nice manner. I can't say enough about the NP, Mercy George. She is a gem. She is kind, caring, understanding, and very personable. Very disappointed. Made appointment in November for April 2025 as it was 1st available appt. So, I wait 5 months for the appt. Today they tried to reach me twice, but I was at work and couldn't answer my phone. They texted me to say they canceled my appointment for tomorrow because I didn't confirm appt today. Also, said my referral hasn't neen received (I sent it months ago), they also said Ins hasn't been authorized because there's no referral. In the time I was a patient I saw four different doctors.Each of the three left the practice. No consistency to my care. Had to find another endocrinologist.
