Desert regional Medical Center provides marginally sufficient care. The staff communication is deficient. No one person seems to understand or know what’s going on. Patients are informed only secondarily. The disorganization is absolutely appalling.
Went in on the 17 or 18th of September 2026 and this is the service I received this is also what I let them know in the survey they sent to me after to. Came in to your hospital one person was infront of me for triage all fine they got called over after a couple minutes of me sitting down, a new person came in sat down we talked he was there for mouth sores I was there for my shoulder the nurse after the patient spends the next 15 minutes going to the check in area till she leaves I assume and a new nurse comes out then call... read more
I had a very good experience on 2 consecutive days visit in Palm Springs. Beginning with Nurse Cathy at check in. Then my wonderful resident doctor who showed consistent care and updates on my condition. Everybody was superb!
I am writing this review because of the very upsetting experience I had as a patient at Desert Regional Medical Center on the Five Sinatra unit. On September 10, 2026, before noon, Todd, the manager of Five Sinatra, and Jessica, the house supervisor, came into my room to speak with me. They told me that I had been discharged the day before and that I needed to leave. They asked if I had somewhere to go or someone who could pick me up. I explained that I did not.
