Still the undisputed number one place to stay. We visited during winter construction and booked at a reduced rate, but were never disturbed once. Our suite was perfect for cooking breakfast and snacks, very spacious, and absolutely worth the extra cost for a special trip. The location is ideal — extremely close to the park entrance and within easy walking distance of restaurants in town. Rooms overlooking the river are the best in my opinion. Really great room on the river with floor to ceiling windows that let all the wonderful sunlight in. Nicely stocked kitchenette. The location was perfect for walking in either direction to explore town for food and beverages. Desk staff was friendly.
We had a really great experience at this hotel. Our room with 2 queen beds, overlooking the riverside, was comfortable and airy. We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio, and going to the hot tub in the evenings (which was very nice). I can strongly recommend this hotel for you Zion base. Oh yeah, they have VCRs in the rooms and you can check out VHS tapes in the office -- some fun nostalgia : )
