Never have I been to a surgery center that they do not allow 1 family member to be in the waiting area. The place is big enough. But most places like that is because they have bad reputation for how they treat their patients. And reading from the prior reviews, I was right. Management is aware of this problem 7 months ago and I did not see the point to respond to that poor review for my same complaint because you did not do anything to fix it. The receptionist is pure gold! I absolutely love how friendly and caring she is. You can tell she loves her job. But the short lady who I assume is the office manager is not friendly at all. Elderly patients, especially the ones that can’t even drive themselves here for their procedures, should be allowed to keep a support person in the waiting area with them. Awful, went in for the SLT procedure, they put 3 different drops in my eye and I had to wait in their office for 2 hrs with a migraine not a headache that they told me I might experience before I went in for the 5 min procedure. I will never do another eye procedure here again. On top of that, their billing department you go to before you get the procedure is just as bad. I ended up paying $800 for the SLT procedure for both eyes, and it didn't add up. I kept getting bill after bill, ended up having to do the procedure all o... read more
Not a fan of this place, I was apprehensive about going here, especially not seeing the doctor prior to the procedure. First of all, they told me there wasn't a waiting area for my spouse, WRONG! There's a waiting area that's a decent space. Then, all the staff in the back including the doctor, were laughing and carrying on amongst themselves, not very professional! I was given a sedative to calm me down, not very effective. During the surgery the doctor necked my cornea and caused severe pain. My husband called the facility... read more
