I am extremely disappointed with Desert Mountain Therapy Center’s handling of their summer therapy camp. My daughter was accepted into the program, and I completed all of the required paperwork and orientation. At no point before the start of camp was I informed that they would be unable to accommodate her. Instead, I was told on the very first day of camp, while dropping her off, that she could not participate because of those needs. Therapist unprofessional. She has used statements such as "I dont think it's best to tell a teen their diagnosis because they will use it as a crutch" and "Group thepray encourages bad behavior" etc
